Like any freshman CS major, I will start with a Hello World.
why did i make a blog?
I didn’t know that blogging survived past 2015, but here I am. I have been meaning to do some type of journaling for a while, but I abhor spending hours doing the grunt work of just writing html websites and I know I will stop journaling if it’s in a physical book (that I’ll probably lose). Anyways, I am using vivaldi now (opera got bought out), and vivaldi will host my website and do the heavy lifting, so this should allow me to focus on actually writing.
what do i want to get out of this?
This is all I can think of right now, maybe more will pop into mind later.

-
- clarify what I’m thinking
- record my progress towards sucking less at writing
- present work in a unified format
- build a reference that’s free, persistent across my devices, and editable

what can you, the reader, get out of this?
There are so many blogs on the internet, especially for tech, science, and literally anything else.
… there is no new (blog) under the sun … And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many (blogs) there is no end…
– Ecclesiastes 1:9 and 12:12 (KJV)
So despite the fact that there are so many blogs that cover all sorts of things, maybe you will find this to be useful.
